How to Become a Creator on Spools 🧵

We’re building the easiest way for 3D designers to turn their ideas into real products — without worrying about printing, fulfillment, or shipping. If you’re a creator with awesome designs and want to sell them without any hassle, here’s how to join our platform:

Step 1: Submit Your Designs

Send us your STL or 3MF files at creators@shopspools.com

Your design should be:

  • Printable (we’ll help with slicing settings if needed)

  • Functional or decorative — doesn’t matter as long as it’s cool

  • Something you’d be proud of

Don’t have a perfect file yet? No worries — we can help you prep it.

Step 2: We Review & Test Print

We’ll test your design to ensure it prints cleanly and fits our quality standards.

If it passes:

  • We create your product listing with photos and a description

  • If needed, we’ll recommend tweaks to improve printability, strength, or finish

Step 3: We Launch Your Product

Once approved:

  • Your product goes live on our marketplace

  • You’ll get your own creator page and link to share

  • We handle printing, packaging, and shipping — every time someone orders

You focus on designing. We do the rest.

Step 4: Earn With Every Sale

  • You earn a creator share on each item sold

  • Sales data and payouts will be visible in your dashboard (coming soon)

  • You get paid monthly — no minimums, no surprises

  • We only get paid when you do, our incentives are completely aligned!
